Dogs settle into heated indoor kennels and go out to the play yard one at a time through the day, while cats keep to their own quiet building with tiered suites and window cages. Meals, medications, and rest follow whatever routine you set at drop-off, and plenty of families ask about baths and nail trims for pick-up day.

As early as you can for summer and the winter holidays. Those are the Flathead Valley's busiest travel stretches, with Glacier National Park traffic running June through September and holiday trips close behind. For those windows, a few weeks of lead time is wise.
