My Annie (miniature dachshund) doesn't mind going here at all. She walks right up to and through the door. Colleen and the staff take spectacular care of her while I am at work. I am so thrilled I found this kennel for her. I know she is safe and loved. I highly recommend Hound's Hideaway!

Very good boarding care for our cat. And the 'hostess' cat Nellie is about the cutest cat ever.

The owner was absolutely amazing and the kennels were clean and well taken care of. Each cat had his own private space and a little balcony to go outside. It was perfect for our vacation in Montana.

My cat has visited twice now for 1 week visits. She comes back happy every time! Would love to see them add a cat room camera.

My dog Roxy seemed to be in great spirits, and not stressed out when we picked her up from a 10 day stay, friendly staff and reasonable rates. Thank you Coleen!

Colleen was awesome with my dogs and took really great care of my puppy on her first time away from home. They came back happy and squeaky clean! Thanks
Cats board calmest when nothing barks, nothing changes, and the same hands feed them every day. That is exactly how this building runs.

Feline guests relaxing in their suites, perched on their condo tiers, and watching the yard from their window cages.

Some adjustment is normal for the first day or two, and a little hiding or light eating is part of it. The suites are built for exactly that, with tiers to climb and quiet corners to retreat to, and we keep a close eye on appetite because it is the clearest sign of how a cat is settling in.
Cats spend the day in their own three-tier suite with food, water, litter boxes, and blankets, plus a window to a private outdoor cage they can use in warmer months. Staff check food and litter through the day, give any medications on schedule, and spend time with cats who want the company.
Cat boarding is $23 per night for each cat. Cats from the same household can share a suite, pick-up before noon is free for that day, and stays over 30 days earn a 10% discount, with a senior discount available as well. A 4% fee applies to card payments.
Every cat needs current FVRCP, feline leukemia, and rabies vaccines, given at least 7 days before the stay, with proof brought in or sent ahead of check-in. Those rules protect your cat as much as anyone's, because every cat in the building has met the same bar.
Yes, and we are set up well for both. Medications are given on schedule at no extra charge, and older cats get the extra attention they need, with appetite, water, and litter habits watched daily. Tell us your cat's routine at booking and we will follow it.
Cats come to us from across the Flathead Valley. That includes Bigfork, Columbia Falls, Coram, Evergreen, Hungry Horse, Kalispell, Kila, Lakeside, Marion, Somers, West Glacier, and Whitefish. We also offer dog boarding in a separate building and baths with nail trims.
